Datavideo & Q-SYS Collaboration: PTC-285 4K PTZ Camera Now Seamlessly Integrated

Datavideo is proud to announce our latest collaboration with Q-SYS, integrating the powerful PTC-285 4K 12x Tracking PTZ Camera into the Q-SYS Ecosystem. This new collaboration enables seamless control and management of the PTC-285 within Q-SYS, a software-based audio, video, and control platform, further enhancing flexibility for professional AV and broadcast applications.

As part of the Q-SYS Ecosystem, Datavideo worked closely with Q-SYS to develop a fully vetted and certified plugin that allows effortless integration of the PTC-285 4K 12x Tracking PTZ Camera into Q-SYS environments. This plugin provides users with an intuitive interface to control camera movement, zoom, focus, and auto-tracking features directly within the Q-SYS platform, streamlining video production workflows.

PTC-285 Q-SYS Control Plugin

With this new integration, users can:

Control pan, tilt, zoom directly from Q-SYS.
Toggle auto focus (On/Off) and manually adjust focus (Near/Far).
Enable and adjust AI-powered auto-tracking settings, including:
- Tracking start position(Current/Preset 1)
- Tracking detected indicator(On/Off)
- Tracking speed(Slow/Med/Fast)
- Tracking figure size(Full/Half/Close)
- Tracking figure placement(Left/Centre/Right)
- Tracking OSD reminder(On/Off)
Adjust tally light (Red/Green/Off) for live production visibility.
Toggle backlight compensation (On/Off) for optimized exposure.
Set and recall up tofour camera presets for rapid repositioning.
Enable auto tilt and auto zoom for hands-free operation.
